Now I see that this is a standard problem with the LG washers. at first i saw the specs and particles and thought my kids just had dirt in their pockets but upon further inspection I realized the whole machine was rusting out and peeling. Also having this same issue. . Is there anyway to resolve this problem? Ours was purchased in 2015 or 2016 from Home Depot. I havenât used bleach in it for a couple years and it is still deteriorating. I have the same problem with rust, is there a recall ? Mine has rusted so bad itâs going to rust through pretty soon. Our LG washer is only 3 years old. It is disgusting. It’s a Maytag. is now outsourcing their HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TOO!!! Rust now extends 3 inches below the dispenser and up the sides. I didnât know I was supposed to get a tetanus shot to own this washer.
